The
Pickens County School System
school system has four elementary schools, one middle school, and three high
schools serving approximately 3000 students. The school system employs
approximately 200 certified staff and 200 support staff. The mission statement
of the system states… the school system strives to ensure an environment where
every learner reaches a high level of academic achievement as determined by
